In the 20th century, Wimberley transitioned from an agrarian community to a resort destination, drawing visitors to its sparkling rivers, rolling hills, and limestone cliffs. The town's commitment to preserving its heritage is reflected in its active arts scene and long-running community events like the beloved Market Days.

Today, Wimberley is known for its timeless charm, artistic spirit and natural attractions. Whether browsing local galleries, jumping into Jacob’s Well, strolling the town square or trying out classic southern dishes at one of the many family-owned restaurants in town, Wimberley remains an easy place to have a beautiful day, no matter the season.
